The Coleen Woodlux Slate Wedge Moccasin Boots
A solid, versatile boot. I'm a flat footed cowgirl so finding a well-fitting daily wear boot is no small feat (no pun intended). The sizing on the moccasin boots is generous. I take a 7.5 in Old Gringo to accommodate arch supports and can fit same arch supports with my true size 7 in a 7.0-7.5 El Vaquero. Really good lateral foot support for those of us with weak ankles. Nice flexible, impact reducing sole, I'm a tad above 5' so was concerned about the shaft height. It still goes a little above the knee, but it still looks and feels good. The leather is soft & pliable enough for a comfortable fit around the knee without interference. I had been a Old Gringo devotee prior to my first pair of El Vaquero Colleen boots. The Colleens are now a staple for me. Well worth the money.
